How far can a hog be baited?

I almost hit one on a dirt road approx 1.5mi as the crow flies from my house. There's a pretty substantial creek and a corn field over there. I was just wondering how difficult it would be to lure one all the way over to my house. It would be about 1.5 miles through thick GA pines.

Would that be possible? Probable??
