700 & 770 look similar.
easy tell though (on most but not on all models) is the stock. SPS has a smooth stock, the 770 looks like it has some sort of ergonomic fingergrooves under the barrel. Don't know why, but they kinda make it look cheap.

the 770 also looks like it's taller, like there's more slope and more empty space in the stock.

700 (SPS model)

note the sturdier bolt, breech, and stock.
Standard: drilled/tapped for scopes
Usually fitted with a 24" barrel, though it is not at all uncommon for it to have a shorter tactical barrel, or a longer 26" barrel depending on caliber.
has either a hinged floor plate magazine (shown) or a detachable box magazine (looks sort of similar...)

All the pics I've seen of the ADL it has checkered pannels on the stock, and some sort of rudimentary ironsights on the barrel. Also for some reason there is no floor plate on the rifle to unload rounds.

770:

comes with a rail for optics (Might be fun for S&G to slap an EoTech or ACOG on it and try to use it for a scout gun)
Usually comes with a cheap scope mounted on it.
Has some weird finger grooves on it. Still don't know why. I think they make it go faster or something.
Taller than the 700.
feels hollow when you pick it up.
