While the G34 and 35 are both excellent handguns and potentially worth buying on their own merit alone, I might suggest that you try a match or two FIRST before making any significant investments. I know how tempting it is to buy a kickass handgun especially when you feel you have a good reason to do so but you may find a given competition, regardless of which one, may not be exactly what you thought it would be. Of course, if you can afford to buy one regardless, then I suggest the G35. Still, I suggest you try one or two matches first. This is all just my 2 cents anyway.
