Interesting suppressor problem

While shooting a few weeks ago, some friends were enjoying my ar and suppressor. One of them laid my gun in the bed of the truck on my soft case. I started smelling something burning and noticed that my can had melted to the nylon case. I moved the gun to let it cool before we rode home. As I took the suppressor of my rifle I noticed that it was still hot, so I placed it in an opened box of clay pigeons. I drove home to find that the can had then melted itself to a clay pigon. So, now I need to clean the melted nylon and clay off the can, but have not found anything that will touch it. The strongest thing I have used is bore cleaner, since in afraid Im going to take the finish off of the Can. Any ideas?
