Close up and focused pictures of the markings would be better than a picture of your tablecloth, pretty though it is.

The gun was made in 1907.

On the .25-20 Model 92, the barrel marking reads ".25-20 W.C.F.", with the "20" 3/4 inch from the receiver. If the receiver cuts off the "20", the barrel has most likely been set back, and maybe rechambered to something else. Measure the barrel length (muzzle to breech face with a cleaning rod) and see what length the barrel is, and also do a chamber cast.

The muzzle crown is definitely wrong, and someone has been messing with the barrel band and magazine tube. The "pretty" plated parts, needless to say, ruin the collector value unless the work can be undone. I hope that "happening on" that gun didn't cost too much money.
