I would ditch the sling for a HD SG, just something to hang up on in a house.
Agree. My preference for a HD shotgun is the less doo-dads the better.

Slings catch on things...slings can be used to take your weapon away from you...slings are for hunting firearms.

Also, another personal preference of mine on a HD shotgun is a bead sight , none at all or night sights. In low-light conditions, you'll most likely not be seeing/using the sights anyways. Especially ghost ring sights.

Suggestion, buy many, many boxes of what your going to shoot and try to wear that new Mossy out. Practice many rounds of rapid fire double/triple tapping. Helps to eliminate short stroking under a stressful situation. Buy some dummy rounds mix em in with live rounds and practice rapidly clearing your shotgun in a misfire situation.
Then think, re-think and think some more about a game plan, running a 'bump in the night' scenario through your head and your reactions till your reactions will be second nature.

Do these things and you'll be much further ahead of the game then worrying about what to add to an already well equipped shotgun.

Welcome to TFL and....Congrats on your new purchase.
