"Convertible" double-action swing-out cylinder revolvers tend to be expensive due to cylinder and crane fitment issues.
The market for .22WMR DA revolvers is limited. The cartridge tends to suffer from a reputation as being too anemic for personal protection but too expensive for plinking and target practice. S&W markets a compact J frame .22WMR snubby but it's basically a specialty item for extremely recoil-shy shooters; the company has not cataloged another regular-production .22WMR revolver in years. Furthermore, Ruger just recently reintroduced the .22LR SP101 after canning the model for a number of years due to lack of sales. They're probably not ready to jump headfirst into another uncertain market segment.
