The same loads that shoot well outta my revolvers also shoot very well outta my carbines. This is in both .357 and .44 mag. Only difference in most manuals from rifle loads and revolver loads is that light loads using fast powders are generally not used in the rifles. I tend to stick with loads that chrono above 850fps outta my revolvers for use in my carbines to avoid the risk of stickin' a bullet.
