You have proof that you delivered the merchandise to the address he provided. Your part of this transaction is complete.
If he's too stupid to provide the correct address, he needs to be provided with the opportunity to learn the consequences of his actions.
The consequences of his action should be that he either track down the ammo that went to the wrong address, or he does without ammo.
Now if the ammo is returned to you, you should notify him if possible and send it to his new address.
