I have a 336CS I got in 1985 for my one and only deer hunt. According to serial # methods (I'm told), it was born in '83. Aside from an indoor range shoot a couple months ago, it hasn't been fired since that deer hunt (where I ran eight or ten rounds in practice but not in "hunt"). Even so, I still have some of the original Federal ammo. It has walnut and all.
