I like Ruger, but if you're talking long-range rifle (you didn't specify distance) it would never be my choice.
TOTAL lack of aftermarket support- triggers, stocks, etc... you should consider that aspect...
I have never seen a Ruger at the 1000 yard bench at our range. Just sayin...
