in our great socialist state of california you already need to provide a thumbprint, license, address, etc. the phone number thing is new however. few stores still have the ammunition accessable directly by customers here, anyway. really the biggest implication of this bill is no online sales.

being a citizen of Cali, what pisses me off is the fact that our stupid government officials do everything possible to drive out business of our state. it is #@$ing hard enough to run a successful business in this tax layden state, now they are going to make it that much more difficult for the already heavily discriminated segement of gun store owners. besides cost concious consumers, many dealers also rely heavily on online purchases, both to buy and sell.

CA is freaking broke, its amazing that they have figured out yet another way to send more business out of state, as Nikop23 said:

looks like I will be driving to nevada
now even more money that should be spent instate and stimulating our own local economy is going to go somewhere else.

PLEASE EVERYONE LOOK AT MY STATE AS AN EXAMPLE. I'M YOUNG, I PROMISE YOU I HAVEN'T BEEN VOTING LONG ENOUGH TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IDIOTS THAT ARE IN OFFICE (and i didn't vote for most of them anyway). WHEN THE RIGHT IDIOTS WIN OFFICE, LOOK WHAT CAN HAPPEN. AND FYI, THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE IS FROM HERE... FRISCO NO LESS... THAT KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT AS IT SHOULD ALL OF YOU.

still strapping in the face of discrimination,
