Its all listed in the US manual, you snap them together with the snaps provided & reverse the necks to make a waterproof (read slightly damp) air vent so they don't get too humid when you sleep in them. The overlapping seams act like a shingle to redirect water away from the seam opening.
If you add a third & a poncho liner you've got a sleeping bag as well. In the military they used the kit from 2 soldiers to make the tent so everyone carried 1 half of a shelter, you can do the same thing if there are more than one of you needing a tent. Pegs can be made from small twigs with a crotch. Cut one end long, the other short & "clip" the liners to the ground with the long end in the dirt & the short one over the fabric. Para chord makes the poles & guys also.
