Hey guys, I'm wanting to get into the gunsmithing thing and I am trying to practice on my DPMS AR. I am trying to take of the gas block to put on a front sight base so i can use the irons. I've thought about using some of the flip-ups but i like the look of the standard A2 front sight. My problems is that I cannot get the GB off. There are two pins at the bottom and I break them loose and the block isn't budging at all whatsoever. I took a small rubber mallet to it and still nothing. If you guys could PLEASE help me I'd greatly appreciate it. I just want to know if I'm completely missing something or what. And YouTube or a simple search isn't helping me at all. Thanks everyone!
