Not all 9mm bullets will crimp tightly enough.

Round nose bullets seem to get pushed back on me, but truncated cone varieties will stay firm.

IMHO, any straight sided 9mm bullet will work. I have had the best luck with Hornady XTPs.

I resize .40s to make 357SIG. The neck is a bout 10-15 thousands shorter, but it stretches with firings. Also 40 brass will have a few ftf, until fire formed, so I use it for training ammo.

Yes it does make it a lot cheaper.

Every body leaves once fired .40 at the range.
