I have a Remington 12g pump shotgun that's pretty interesting. It's former function was living in the trunk of a police car so who knows what has happened to it along the way.

18" vented rib barrel 2/34 - 3" shells. Mod Choke. All parts appear to be from an 870 Wingmaster EXCEPT the receiver, which is marked "Sportsman 12 Magnum". It has wood furniture but fancier than police stocks and they do match.

Was this put together from an 870 and an 1187? I didn't know an auto receiver could be mated with pump action.

(I am pretty green on shotguns)
