Black Talons have replaced Hydroshocks and Silvertips in the "popular obsolete defensive ammo" world.
Three points;
1. When Winchester stopped making them, their SXT line was manufactured to perform pretty much identically to the discontinued Talons.
2. Ranger T ammo is actually an improvement over SXT.
3. Legislation was not passed to ban Black Talons. What was made illegal all over the place was the old KTW round (years before the Talons were made).
