I gutted her later at a less conspicuous area, dont want to scare all the deer leaving innards around, they would probably be eaten rather quickly but I dont want to take chances.

I will keep the pics and excitement coming as i hunt for the next three weekends I am aiming for a doe or two more and a buck (live in QDM.... has to be 4 points or better on one side)
Heres one of my hunting buddy's buck:
Not as big as the one I took last season but its meat with a cool rack on top
He was really excited its been a looong time since he got a buck, hit with .270 and didnt take a step further
Im excited too, look at the short face on this buck! He seems young and was following a bigger buck, this young buck has/had a lot of potential, I guess we have some good genes running around
Ill see if I can find one of my last year's buck which was a big 8
