how many grains of imr3031 does it take to fill up a 30-30 case?
I'm trying to load some 100 grain short jacket speer plinker. A load I found on MD Smith's reloading pages calls for 38 grains of imr 3031 but 38 grains fills the case up to the top but the formula doesn't mention a compressed load. This is my first try at reloading on my own equipment. It's a hornady balance scale.
