Interesting article,,,
I'll have to show it to my Poppa.

He swore to me that when he was a kid,,,
He saw an armadillo walking on the bottom of a small stream.

Since my Poppa never let truth get in the way of a good story,,,
I never quite believed him on that one,,,
I'll show him the article,,,
And apologize.

The reason I posted originally was that on any given morning,,,
We would see a dozen or more of the danged critters,,,
I could only get 2-3 before the rest scurried away.

Then one morning there weren't any armadillos at all,,,
And it's been that way ever since,,,
They just disappeared.

That's why I thought maybe they hibernated or something,,,
I've never seen varmints go away en masse like that.

I thought it was odd,,,
And it kinda pi**ed me off,,,
I just bought a new rifle/scope for them.
