I got one close to yours (N541XXX), I got it new and shoot the crap out of it, it still looks brand new.
I use a 240 gran cast SWC with 20 grns of 2400, not a light load but it doesn't hurt the gun. Accurate too.
Every now and then I take it out and wipe it down with RIG (best protection I've found for Blued guns.
