Just keep the receipt, walmart takes returns. It might be ok, but I wouldn't expect it to be great. Nothing to really lose if you look at it like this. Don't forget you probably need mounts for your scope too.
Definitely check out Redfield though, glass in your price range that will do everything you need it to for a 10/22.
