This always generates an argument along party lines.

The Smith lock was A consideration, but not the ONLY consideration.
I have other examples of both guns.
I am not addicted strictly to either brand.
I have confidently carried both brands in uniform.
Both brands have had QC problems in recent years.
Did I mention I bought the...Ruger?
