now there could be a local ordanance restricting mag caps but for the rifle itself? some towns have some weird laws (need a hunters safety to use public ranges, guns need to safety checked b4 you can hunt with them by a instructor or such. call the local gun shop or the pd and see if there is any restrictions on transport or firearms at the range and such.
