I had better consistancy with H4831 and H4895 than any other powder, slightly better with those two over the closest IMR powders. H380 was a mess for me, had no luck at all. I have a tough time finding Accurate, Alliant, Vihtavuori (sp?), Winchester, etc. in my neck of the woods, and by the time I make it to the gun shows, they are always sold out.

As stated before, for my .270 I tried H4831, H4895, H380 and Varget. H4831 had the best results, overall. The short-cut version also metered very well for me, which was a nice plus.

My results were good all things considered. I would like to try R-22, Accurate 2700, IMR7828, and H1000. Especially R-22, I've heard great things about that one. We'll see when I can get my hands on them...
