Comparing Taurus to S&W is like comparing Chevy to Mercedes. Both are cars, but when I pay so much more for the Mercedes I am darned sure going to expect a lot better quality. Taurus may not be "as good as" S&W, but it is also not nearly as expensive. And let's keep it new vs new or used vs used. I have heard the used S&W vs new Taurus argument. Sorry if I am off topic or hijacking the thread.
