All I can see is that it was a bottom ejection model that was discontinued in 1933. There were a little less than 50k made and a perfect one is worth about $400 (less for plain barrel, more for ribbed). Some were made to higher "grade" levels. The above price is for a plane-jane "A" grade. They went up to an "F".

Apparently, the Ithaca model 37 is an adaptation of this firearm, originally designed by John Browning.
