Tactical? Suitable for battle.
In my opinion any reliable firearm is a "tactical" firearm. One doesn't need a customized gun, but adding a lot of bells and whistles, many of them unnecessary, and then calling it a "tactical" gun, and charging big $ seems to be the norm these days.
In my opinion, "tactical" is synonymous with "battle."
