Glasses
I made the $8 comment as my favorite pair of prescription eyeglasses cost me about $8. I have eyeglasses from local Opthamolagist/Optometrist that cost several hundred dollars (no line bi-focals/solar tint/Titanium Frames). Clark Howard on radio suggested Zenni Optical which I then ordered from. I've now ordered 11 pair for my family. The Most expensive with every option and Titanium frame (same as my approx. $500 glasses) was substantially less than $100, about 1/6 the cost locally. I also ordered a couple pair for back up. One of those was a pair of "Ben Franklin" style, alloy frames, single vision for $8. That pair of glasses is great!! and is now my favorite pair. So based on the prices from Zenni Optical I'd say Raybans are less than $8. I don't think it's possible to spend a $100 on any pair of glasses through them, even with the most complex prescription and exotic frames. They are the best value I've encountered in my life.
