I had the exact model you had and also had the same dilema. For me, I found the perfect choice with a Nikon Monarch African 1-4x20 with a German #4 reticle. I think it looks perfect on this rifle due to no objective bell. Glass was clear and bright, and I think 4 power is plenty on a rig like this. I have attached a picture of the scope.
