So far, I have never seen a SS pin in the primer pocket. But I HAVE seen pins stuck
inside the case, lodged between one edge of the primer flash hole and the bowl shaped bottom of the case. Those can only be detected by looking inside the case which I do as I am about to towel dry the cases. I suppose it might depend on the dimensions of the SS pins.
