That is a whole lot different than grabbing your precision 17 Rem out of the safe and forcing steel BBs with a diameter tolerance larger than the rifling bore diameter of the barrel through it.
If you're ok with that great. As I said before I don't like the idea and I wouldn't do it to one of my rifles.
