I didn't have to wait for it except the 24 hour time frame I went through because it was on layaway. My LGS had a few of them in stock. I haven't shot it yet but it is a well built 1911 and feels like one that costs twice as much. I've read countless positive reviews and it really seems like a lot of gun for the money.
