Why would I need more than 2 in the mag? The limit on pheasants is only 3.
and I wouldn't have to worry about plugging it for waterfowl. Seriously, that is not a problem for me, rarely does the situation arise that I would ever put off more than three shots when hunting birds, even if one is a miss, that still means I got two birds. You learn to make your shots count when you learn to shoot with a 20 gauge bolt action. Neither is the 2 3/4" chamber, I've never had anything but that, max loaded 5 shot 2 3/4" out of a full choke will take care of those spooky far-flushing late season roosters as well as a 3"
Went in and checked it out again yesterday. The Gold Lion that I looked at had some of the nicest wood I've ever seen on a shotgun and the overall fit and finish were excellent. It felt very light and well balanced. I'm just trying to decide if I can afford another shotgun right now, a buddy just offered me a deal on a carbine that I would really like to have.
