If your barrel is marked ".32Spec" or ".32-40" you definitely have a Model 1894; if marked ".32WCF" you have a Model 1892 - but since you have the gun we can't see in your hands, and said "1894", I have to presume it's chambered in one of the two longer cartridges.

FWIW, There were no Model 94's prior to SN 950,000 - before that point they were all marked "Model 1894" on the top tang.

The Model 1892 likewise had a model name/designation change at some point to "Model 92".
