Moon clips are in a way faster then speedloaders. Instead of having to insert, twist, remove. All you do is simple is insert. They are thin rings with cut outs for rounds to lock into. From what I had seen you insert the whole ring and they are thin enough for the cylinder to shut. To remove all five rounds to just simple remove the moon clip. Heres a pic of a 9mm moon clip for a 5 round luger.
