If a bullet has a cannelure groove, does the bullet HAVE to be seated with the groove to the brass? If the OAL I need is longer, can the groove stick out from the brass?

Lock, Stock and Barrel has some Remington bulk bullets, 55gr. SP w/cannelure groove 100count for $6.
