5000 rounds and only cleaned twice or three times? Wow. I clean mine after every range visit. Only takes maybe seven minutes. A clean gun is a happy gun.

My first SR22P (I have two) has some wear in the same place your photo shows. Does not seem to affect the gun though. If it does I will call Ruger.

I have not had the FTF from the magazine that you describe. In fact, excepting for one dud round, in 2000 rounds I have never had a feeding or firing failure with the SR22P.
