It's not really all that unbelievable - happens from time to time when a paper or other media outlet wants to stir up the public.
The standard response is to publish the info of the author(s) of the article or database. You get bonus points for getting their FB, Twitter, and MySpace profile info and
double bonus points for getting them to "friend" you so you can message them to explain the error of their ways
