IMHO the cost of primers don't really matter . Remember we are talking pennies here . $30 = $.03 per primer OK how about the ridiculous price of $50 per 1k = $.05 . Alright now lets think a little deeper . I load match grade 308 for $.52 a round and 223/5.56 of $.38 around when spending $30 on primers . Is it really a deal breaker if your 308s were $.54 now and your 223 were $.40 each .It's like saying a good price for me to load 308 is 52 cents a round but I'd NEVER spend 54 cents per round that's just crazy , I'd rather sit home and wish I was shooting . I will not deprive my self from shooting because primers are $50 per 1k . Now with small hand gun rounds that 2 cents is a bigger % but I'm still not going to deprive my self from shooting for 2 cents
