My grandfather had an A.H.Fox 12 ga double (30" full/full) that had "Krupp Steel" stamped on the barrels. I haven't seen in years and can't say if it was in German or not. He was quite proud of that gun. Many a duck, goose, and deer hit the ground in front of it. c

Krupp Steel was a big selling point during the time of transistion from black power to smokeless. Knowing the gun was made with steel from the Krupp works verified it was safe with smokless powder. At least that's what I remember him telling me all those many years ago.

He used his 20 ga Parker for small game.
