I can tell you what works best in my rifle but you should do your own research. Every gun is different so go with the books oal (over all length) and not mine. Here is what works for my old 30-06. Im pretty new on this site and at first I was wondering why no one would answer my questions. Now I understand no one wants to give out information that could hurt another person.
165 gr sst bullet
43 gr varget
WLR primer
3.290 OAL
or
53 gr H4350
