I just bought one - my first HK - and its ergonomics are superior to anything else I've held. Unfortunately, I don't believe HK officially manufactures a P30 threaded barrel. You'd be better off buying a P30L barrel and paying a smith to thread it at this point. That's how the barrel HKparts offered was manufactured. I presume it must work and be safe.
