On "illegal" components: older 29gr all-brass ammo is now illegal. Likewise, duplicating the Russian 5.45 PSM round (pointed steel core bullet) would be illegal...use of mostly hard materials makes the .25acp ammo "pistol armor-piercing" to our friends the ATFreaks.
So, within the pressure and OAL and material constraints, what kind of defensive load can be cooked up? The assumption is that only a diminitive .25 (Colt Vest Pocket or similar) can be used and Keltec P32 is not considered.
