I am looking to get a new .223 to use mostly at the range, but will use it for some small game also. I want one with a heavy barrel, because I plan on shooting it quite a bit. I am interested what others favorite .223 bolt action rifle is? If you have one, what are your likes or dislikes with it. The two that have my interest are the Tikka Varmint and the ruger M77 Mark II target. The max range I will shoot is probable 300-400 yards it that matters.
