I just laughed my @$$ off when I flipped threw the TV this morning. I saw a short clip on MTV about The Who and one of their Live stints on the Smothers Brothers TV show. I never knew the reason Pete Townhend is deaf in one ear was because of this show.

Keith moon used Bullseye Gunpowder to blow up his drum kit during the Who's famous instrument smashing stint. He apparently used 3x's as much powder as he should have and Pete Townshend blamed this incedent for his loss of hearing. Two other members were treated for shrapnel wounds. Didn't this guy O.D. too?
