I agree with your gunsmith. I've used Wingmaster and Experss shotguns. Other than cheaper wood and polished metal there is no difference in performance. On a hunting gun I'd rather have the Express. If I'm going to pay the $700 they want for the Wingmaster I'll put a little more with it and buy a Beretta or Benelli.
