I'll be moving south to florida this summer (from NY). As I understand it NFA items are allowed there. I would like to have my 870 12ga cut back to 14"bbl after the move to make it easier to carry backpacking and as a HD gun. Could someone who's been through it let me know if my understanding of Florida law is correct and what steps need to be taken? I'm not asking to have all the legwork done for me, just a rough outline of what I'll need to do. Thanks.
