I have played them both and have an opinion on both
Airsoft is way cheaper... no co2 and costly paintballs...
If youre just messing around and having fun running through the yard and shooting the piss outa friends go with airsoft, cheap and if you hit windows you dont get the shattering you do with paintballs.
