I carry my in my LCP back pocket in an Uncle George Wallet holster ... Works great. I have started carrying my LC9 in my back pocket with a Desantis Superfly ... It fits in some shorts/pants but not most. When I do I always wear my shirt out covering the pocket.
I've done this for several years and never had a problem. Never hit the mag release.
